Voluntary Action Sheffield (VAS)

VAS is an independent voluntary organisation supporting the development of the voluntary and community sector in the region.

VAS provides a wide range of support and services to groups and organisations, and has an intermediary role to facilitate joint working between the local voluntary sector and statutory bodies and ensure the sector is represented. VAS also supports individuals, particularly volunteers and people who use health and social care services in the city.

VAS is a member of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) and works particularly closely with NAVCA members in South Yorkshire, and across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Inova Consultancy provides a flexible consultancy service that responds to the needs of organisations and individuals internationally in the area of diversity, equal opportunities and entrepreneurship.

Centro Ligure per la Produttivita (CLP)

CLP (est. 1956) is the training and research agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Genoa. Its mission includes the promotion of entrepreneurship and business professionalism, the support of innovation and economic growth, the development of Corporate Social Responsibility culture.

Areas of expertise include business creation, training/continuous education and business support. Based on the needs of both would-be and experienced entrepreneurs CLP manages the provision of economic information services, consultancy and management support, as well as specific actions dedicated to schools and universities.

Activity includes: research and pilot projects regarding the training needs of local SMEs (innovation and competitiveness skills) as well as labour market trends; in-depth needs analyses, design and supply of training activities and services for a range of target groups: entrepreneurs, managers, staff, employed/unemployed, graduates, over 50, women.

MFG Innovation Agency for ICT and Media (MFG)

As a Public Innovation Agency for ICT and Media, MFG Baden-Württemberg has been strengthening Baden-Württemberg as a business location for IT, media and creative industries since 1995. MFG improves regional innovation and competitiveness including the promotion of regional, national and international cooperation.

Its focus is on the support of successful entrepreneurship especially in small and medium-sized companies, also connecting them with application-oriented research and public funding programmes. MFG successfully promotes digital literacy and eSkills within the region and as part of European initiatives and has expertise in web 2.0 promotion and training programmes.

Union de Professionales y Trabajadores Autonomos de Espana (UPTA)

UPTA is an organisation working to promote the interests of the self-employed and entrepreneurs within Spain, and has, among others, the following objectives;

– Representing the needs of associates and members to Government and Policy Makers

– Promoting equal treatment and opportunities for women and men in the social, cultural, professional and economical sector

– Representing the needs of the disabled, immigrants, unemployed over 45 years, women and young people in the labour market

– Undertake comprehensive actions to help achieve emancipation in both the social and economic sector for young people

– Promote social and economic development in rural areas.

– Promoting economic associations and the internationalization of business activity individually

– Promote training, in order to contribute to an improvement of the professional qualification, management skills and employability of autonomous entrepreneurs.
